My Kind of Crazy
1968 Camaro
Bruce had a vision of taking a classic Camaro and turning it into a Supercar. The customer was open-minded to the extreme build and named her “My Kind of Crazy”. We chopped the roof 3”, lengthened the roof 3” and sectioned the body 3” and we were able to retain the body lines of the car and improve the look by making it a sleek 40” tall powerful machine. The two air intake scoops flow into two round tubes for an aggressive look. The entire floor is handmade of 18 gauge steel that we bead rolled to create the design. The upgraded Martz chassis was installed in a higher position to allow for more ground clearance. The engine bay is handmade out of .065 6061 aluminum with embossing to match the floor. The air cleaner is handmade out of aluminum and built to draw air out of the front of the hood. The handmade mid-length stainless steel headers lead to the custom fabricated oval-shaped exhaust designed for ground clearance.
